Skin disorders    Disorders can affect every part of your body. No body part is sanitized from the adverse affect of the environment, pollution, and various other factors that create irritable physiological changes. Skin disorders are a type of disorder that affects the skin. As a term, skin disorder is a broad ranged and covers a large number of skin conditions.

It must be said that not all skin disorders possess the same power of malignancy. Some are serious while others are plain irritating and annoying to the core. There are some skin disorders that are plainly visible to the naked eye, while others are more covert and give just a hint of their presence.

Skin disorders on the whole can lead to other medical conditions like fever etc.

ACNE

Cancerous growth is a serious medical condition. In terms of skin disorders, it manifests itself in many forms, both benign and malignant.

Some of the types of skin cancer are the basal cell carcinoma, that has a very slow growth; and melanoma that has the potential to be fatal. Medical treatment can be a mixture of medications and therapies like chemotherapy and radiotherapy etc.

ROSACEA

Rosacea causes facial redness and inflammation. There are occasions when people confuse it with acne because of the visual symptoms, and it’s referred to, by many, as adult acne.

HERPES

Both genital and oral herpes are a result of infection caused by the herpes simplex virus. This is one of the serious skin disorders and the infection will last a life time. However the rashes on the skin can be controlled using regular medication. In a pregnant woman, a herpes infection can lead to medical problems for the unborn child.

These are just some of the skin disorders that can affect the body. All skin disorders can be treated by taking medications and applying topical creams. It’s advisable that you seek the advice of your doctor before embarking on a treatment program.
